There are birds that sing, truck books that beep, puppets to move, bubbles to blow, arts and craft projects, baby toys, and lots and lots of puppies and horses. Most of the toys at Partners have some connection to nature and the shore to enhance children’s appreciation for what is all around us here in Westport, or things to do on a beautiful summer day at the beach or a cold winter day inside. There are puzzles for adults and children including wooden puzzles from England with special cutout pieces. We have noncompetitive board games from Canada. Klutz activity books cover a wide spectrum of interests as do our coloring and little activity books. And there is always a selection of affordable small pick up items to amuse, teach and entertain.
Whenever possible, we find a toy and often a puppet to accompany a book from our bookstore. But occasionally we stray and make some space for Groovy Girls!! And there are always a few new things just to get a laugh. While children are welcome to browse through the toys, we try to direct them to our chalkboard table to entertain themselves while parents shop.
HORSES - Westport is horse country... and we‘re happy to offer a delightful line of toys and books to please our horse loving clientele. 
All equine shapes, sizes and colors are featured in the collection of Douglas Toys stuffed horses: Shetland, Palomino, Dappled Grey and Appaloosa, to name a few. Horse related books, puzzles, pens and more round out our varied selection.
ARTS & CRAFTS - Need something to keep those little hands busy? 
Our Arts and Crafts section features a wide spectrum of projects for all ages. Finger paints, sewing, clay, paper dolls, handmade cards, even origami – there’s something for everyone.
NATURE & SHORE - Many of our toys feature the creatures of the shore & sea, reflecting the fact that we are a rural & coastal community. 
Plush owls, coyotes, singing birds, horses, cats and dogs are popular items, along with our small plastic replicas of sea creatures like turtles, whales, lobsters, crabs and sharks.
GAMES & PUZZLES - Whether you prefer the traditional games of chess, checkers and backgammon or relish the challenge of something a bit more unusual, our games selection is diverse enough to accommodate any preference. Our children’s puzzles offer many styles, from wooden to magnetic to large scale floor puzzles (adult puzzles and games also available).
